Signs of our impending spring!!!

Today on the walk home, I saw a daffodil peeking through the soil in my neighbors yard. Then, I saw kids playing baseball at the local field. I don't want to jinx it...but spring appears to be sproinging.

Not a moment to soon if you ask me.

Ha! I hate to say it but it's true. Once, when I was a kid, it actually snowed in May. May 2nd if I remember it right, freaky as hell. And only a few years (and by a few, I mean like 8 or so) we had our "April's Fools Storm", that was a kick in the mouth. 3 feet of snow in April! A tree fell on my apartment and car, I had to be at work to do the breakfast shift at the hotel I was cooking at at the time. Normally, I ....hey, this is starting to come off as a good post...I am gonna draft it as such and post it up, so you'll hear the rest of the story then. Until then, ya, you were right....we aren't out of the winter yet.

thanks for reminding me.

I hope that it keeps right on sproinging!

Spring is here. The boy and I spent an hour or so playing baseball, tonight.

And I loved driving to work at 6:00 am listening to the Red Sox and A's on the radio. I had 3 broadcasts, Oakland, Boston and Toyko, tough to understand the Japanense.
