Terrible news, Exene Cervenka diagnosed with MS
Via Rolling Stone, it appears co-lead singer of 70's punk institution X, Exene Cervenka, has been diagnosed with MS.
I've seen X, and their side project The Knitters on several occasions, and they rock the house down. Here's hoping she's treated gently by this disease, and not left crippled....what a horrible thing to happen to someone who struck me as so alive.
On the updside, it sounds like she is facing this with a very positive attitude (as I would have imagined she would), so I suppose I should as well.
